Our office accepts all major dental insurance and participates with many insurers, including United Concordia/TriCare (military dependents), Blue Cross/Blue Shield (Anthem), DNoA, GEHA & Delta Dental.  Know that most all insurers will pay our office on your behalf as long as you do not belong to a plan which limits your selection of providers to those listed on their respective plans.  Several additional options are available for patients of record with our office who reside in Hampton Roads or North Carolina and can prove themselves credit worthy.

(Please see below for additional payment options, including Care Credit®)

Problems financing your dental treatment?

In addition to accepting cash, checks and major credit cards, our practice also offers monthly payment plans through an outside health care financing partner.  Similar to a department-store credit card, these payment plans can only be used to cover your health care needs.

After you've agreed on a treatment plan, simply complete a brief credit application, which is submitted to Care Credit, either by phone or online.  A credit decision typically is made within minutes, and your treatment can begin at once, usually with little or no money down.

You pay for the care you need over time, in low monthly payments.  Some plans offer a revolving line of credit that you and your family can use for ongoing dental needs—a convenient financial resource for preventive, emergency and cosmetic treatment.

ADA Member AdvantageSM exclusively endorses the CareCredit program.

Endorsed by the ADA, it is one of the most popular methods available today!

Direct Reimbursement (DR) is a self-funded dental benefits plan that reimburses you according to dollars spent on dental care, not on the type of treatment you receive.   Already, more than 4200 employers nationwide, including the Mayo Clinic, the Lubbock Independent School District, White Castle Restaurants & Olan Mills Photography Studios participate in Direct Reimbursement plans.  Considering dental coverage is among the most frequently requested of benefits, many employers are beginning to find it an appealing alternative to the rising cost of dental insurance.

Here's how it works...  You visit the dentist of your choice and receive the necessary dental care.  You then submit a paid receipt or other proof of treatment to your plan administrator. You are reimbursed or the benefit is directly assigned to the dental office according to your employer's plan design.  It's that simple!  And it allows you complete freedom to choose any dentist.  Instead of paying monthly insurance premiums, even if you don't use the dentist, your employer pays a percentage of actual treatments received up to a cap amount set by your employer.  Moreover, your employer is removed from the potential responsibility of influencing treatment decisions due to plan selection or sponsorship.

Believe in it...  Direct Reimbursement is the American Dental Association's preferred method of financing dental treatment.

If you do not already qualify for Direct Reimbursement through your company, you may wish to supply your employer with an actual cost estimate.

To do so, either telephone the ADA at 1-800-232-7698, email or click on the ADA logo.  (Below right.)
